Marta Bebo's Dambalkhacho

In recent years, the demand for natural products and healthy food has considerably increased throughout the world.  Georgia has great potential to produce a wide range of environmentally healthy products, but to enhance this potential we need to make sound decisions and implement proper management structure.

 To meet this demand, we offer our consumers natural dairy products - Dambalkhacho, village butter and erbo (Melted butter). None of these products contain any kinds of conservatives or additives.

Our family enterprise is located in Tianeti, where we make our products using traditional and sophisticated technology, which was handed down to us by our grandmother and the whole process is implemented manually.

It all began 5 years ago, when within the project “Produce in Georgia” we were given a small grant. Since then our business started to develop. Our mission was to revive the technology of Dambalkho -Pshavi's distinctive ethno product. This technology, which counts more than 200 years, was granted the status of an intangible monument by the Ministry of Culture in 2014; However, through passing years, this unique tradition was lost. Therefore, our aim is to revive this forgotten technology and introduce the product -  Dambalkhacho to wider masses of people.

We are happy and grateful that we managed to obtain trust and love from the side of our customers despite the lack of resources, time and financial means. Our devotion and love towards our endeavor helped us to become a bona fide manufacturer focused on high quality products and services. Long-term relationships and individual approach to customers are our priorities; we offer our customers a healthy natural dairy product that we consume ourselves. We are grateful to all of our customers and partners who trust us and favored us to be their business partner. We collaborate with lots of brand companies and we highly appreciate and cherish these relationships.

We are glad that today, due to our endeavors, Dambalkhacho is available almost at all consumer market places, not only in regions but also in Tbilisi and Batumi. Before that, the only place where you could buy Dambalkhacho was Pshavi or Tianeti. We were also able to present Dambalkhacho as a Visit card of Pshavi region and, at the same time, introduce its cuisine and traditions to even more people. "Martha Bebo Dambalkhacho" makes a great contribution to increasing the popularity and awareness of Dambalkhacho in general. Thanks to us, more and more customers have got acquainted with this product - Dambalkhacho and consider it as an authentic part of Pshavi, its distinctive cult.

By giving the name “Marta bebo” to our brand we tried to honor the memory of our ancestors, we wanted to express our respect towards them and carry this tradition over. We are sure that if Marta bebo (our grandma) were alive, she would be proud and happy as well.  So we dedicate our initiative to the memory of our beautiful grandmother.
